Pippa traveled to Thailand in 2012 to do some thinking, whilst there she volunteered for a small animal charity on a tiny Asian island. On her return she baked pies to raise money for the charity and hey presto the Artisan Pie company was born. Pippa now lives and works in beautiful Silverdale on the west coast of England, on the Lancashire and Cumbria border, happily operating the little cottage industry Artisan Pies. Pippa is passionate about good food and produces high quality products, from natural and simple ingredients. Her recipes are traditional with a few modern twists. Her methods are also traditional, she is proud to use very few appliances, and insists that hand mixing, and rolling is best, and also helps to keep her arms toned! Pippa likes to develop her products and surprises her customers with something new, alongside the tried and tested favorites.
